About
Repower Revolution is an initiative to grow a coalition of companies and organizations who are committed to transitioning passenger vehicles away from diesel and gasoline and replacing them with battery-powered fleets in order to achieve carbon neutrality faster. Our organization not only supports the concept of purchasing new electric vehicles (EVs), but also seeks to elevate the nontraditional concept of “repowering” existing diesel and gasoline powered buses into battery-powered EVs.
Battery Repower is an important tool in the race to carbon neutrality that should not be over-looked. The technology exists today and now the option of “repowering” diesel to electric will allow businesses and governments more opportunities to transition away from fossil fuels while doing so in a manner that is less expensive and potentially much faster than the traditional avenue of purchasing new EV buses.
What if you could transform an existing passenger bus and REPOWER that long-life vehicle from a traditional diesel engine to a clean and green EV?
Today you can!
Our Mission
To highlight and encourage new EV bus integration as well as the use of new technology that allows companies and governments to take existing diesel and gasoline powered passenger buses and REPOWER them into clean green battery powered EVs. Engage business owners, government leaders and opinion leaders and encourage new EV bus fleet purchases as well as the adoption and alternative of REPOWERING existing diesel buses into battery-powered EVs. To advocate, that in order to achieve carbon neutrality, we must employ ALL options of transitioning away from fossil fuels.
Our Vision
To provide information, technology and partnerships for businesses and governmental agencies to consider new EV bus integration and battery repower as an important tool for achieving carbon neutrality. When large passenger bus fleet owners – private or public entities – strive to go green, they should consider their entire fleet eligible today through use of repower and not just waiting to replace old buses with new EVs. Both new EV buses and repowering existing buses that still have longer life-spans are viable solutions.
